Me: There is no 13 o-clock. It starts over after 12.
Little Mister: What about 8?
Me: 8 is a number. It comes after 7 and before 9.
Little Mister: But what does 8 mean?
silence.....

Little Mister's version of the Easter story involved Jesus coming out of the 'Tube' on the 3rd day.

At a restaurant:
Little Mister: I want only red ketchup. I don't like white ketchup or yellow ketchup.

Little Mister's preschool teacher's father passed away last week. As we were driving to school, I started talking about things we could do to make Mrs. A feel better while she was sad.
Me: You can give her hugs when you see her.
Little A: And we could bring her some cookies.
pause
Little Mister: And we could bring her a hamburger. With ketchup.
