Randomosity

• We all made it through my first business trip. Husband has a new respect for me after single parenting it for 3 days.
• Flying is so much more pleasant when you don't have a toddler in your lap.
• I read Twilight on the plane to and from. Probably the last female in the country to not have read the book. It started slow and I was thinking 'what is all the fuss about.' Then it picked up and, oh my, I GET IT. I think I actually fell in love with a fictional character.
• I'm going to try to wait to read New Moon until my next trip. Try is the operative word.
• Little Mister got really sick Friday night and Saturday morning. The doctor tested his blood and said he had an extremely high white blood cell count so he sent us to X-ray for pneumonia. Turns out he had a mild case. He got an injection of antibiotics and I was told to take him home and watch and see if it got worse and, if so, take him to the ER. Wonderfully comforting command. Thankfully it did not get worse and today he seems to be back to himself.
• I heart Starbucks Iced Coffee with hazelnut syrup and milk.
